Centennial will receive 11 USPS parcel boxes in early December. These parcel boxes will be placed on the wall across from the existing mailboxes and next to the library doors. When a package is received that is too big for your mailbox, the mailman will place the package in one of the parcel boxes, and place the key to that box in your mailbox. This way you will be able to retrieve your package as soon as the mailman delivers, and will not need to wait until the afternoon shift arrives.
We have been working on developing a similar system for UPS and FEDEX for future use. UPS has been cooperative, but FED EX has not. We will continue to deliver the UPS and FED EX packages at 5:00 pm Monday-Saturday until further notice.
Included with these new parcel boxes, will be three new mailboxes, one for the Office mail, one for the Gift Shop, and one for Alba's Beauty Salon.
If you are in a real hurry to receive a package as soon as it arrives, please use USPS as your shipping method!
