Centennial Village

Does HUD own Centennial?

10/28/2011

No. Centennial Village Corporation is an independent non-profit, governed by a board of directors, and managed by the corporations employees.

Centennial participates as a contracted housing provider under HUD's 202/8 program. Centennial has operated under this program from it's inception, and plans to remain in the program into the forseeable future.

Centennial's goal is to provide gracious and affordable independent living to low-income seniors. We feel that the best way to remain affordable is through HUD's program, and that the best way to remain gracious is to have an efficient operation that allows our limited staff to focus on completing all of their required work and have some time each day to interact with residents.
